Kepler Guest Observer Program

Overview of the Guest Observer Program

GUEST OBSERVER FUNDING

NASA funds the investigations of successful US-led proposals. The expected budget for cycle 2 Guest Observer awards is $1.2M. The budget will be spread across approximately 30 investigations and will be released to PIs at the time that their first sequences of data are made available within the MAST archive. Award periods will be 1 year. Proposers are expected to provide a budget plan and budget justification as part of their proposal package.
