Current Observing and Proposal Opportunites

NASA Keck Time

NASA is soliciting proposals for use of the Keck Telescopes for the 2009B semester. Beginning this semester, NASA Headquarters has opened up the call to a wider range of disciplines. In addition, a portion of the time will be devoted to CoRoT Key Science projects. All proposals are due on March 6, 2009 at 4pm PDT. Please see the Keck Solicitation website for further information.

Sagan Fellowship Program

NExSci is pleased to announce the introduction of the Sagan Postdoctral Fellowship Program. Applications for 2009 are currently under review and awardees will be announced in February 2009. The Sagan Fellowships support outstanding recent postdoctoral scientists to conduct independent research that is broadly related to the science goals of the NASA Exoplanet Exploration area. Application information for the 2010 Fellowships will be posted in ~August 2009 with a deadline in early November 2009.
