Proposals for NASA Keck time for observing semester 2015A (February 1 - July 31, 2015) are due Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at 4 pm PDT. This call is now closed.
General Information and Guidelines for applying for NASA Keck Telescope Time
- NASA intends the use of the Keck telescopes to be highly strategic in support of on-going missions and/or high priority, long-term science goals. Highlights for 2015A
- 1) Planetary Science and New Horizons/Pluto Monitoring Observations
- 2) General Proposals for the Use of Keck to Observe Kepler Targets
- 3) Data taken with ALL instruments are now included in the Keck Observatory Archive
- 4) Mission support letters must be requested from NASA HQ at least two weeks before submission deadline (i.e. by Sept. 4)
- 5) 9/16/14: Be sure to check the WMKO instrument page. Note that NASA will not accept shared risk proposals for the NIRIS instrument.
