Please note that the symposium location at Caltech has moved! It will now be held in the Hameetman Auditorium in the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics at 1216 California Blvd.
The NASA Exoplanet Science Institute (NExScI) will host the Sagan/Michelson Fellows Symposium on November 12-13, 2009, at Caltech's Hameetman Auditorium in the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics. The symposium is for current and past Sagan/Michelson graduate student and postdoctoral fellows to present current or past research results and will highlight the many cutting-edge efforts by current and past Michelson and Sagan Fellows. All interested parties are welcome to attend. The last Fellows Symposium was held in October 2005.

Symposium Registration
There is no registration fee for the workshop, however we ask that all those who will attend register for planning purposes. Click here to register.

Symposium Dinner! There will be a symposium dinner at 7 pm on Thursday evening Nov. 12 at Il Fornaio restaurant. The dinner is free for speakers and $40 for others and guests. Please RSVP for the dinner to saganfellowship@ipac.caltech.edu if you plan to attend.
Information for Speakers
Talks on each day will be 25 minutes long, with 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for discussion/questions. The two Keynote Talks will be 1 hour long.
Please upload your talk by November 6 through the talk submission page. Talks will be posted on-line before the Symposium.
Financially supported travelers must follow the Travel Guidelines and stay at the symposium hotel. Financially supported travelers have been emailed the contact information for the NExScI administrative support person who will be helping with their reimbursement, however if you need this name again, please email saganfellowship@ipac.caltech.edu.
