- Posters presenters wishing to present a 1-minute, 1-slide preview MUST bring an overhead for this - no computers allowed
- Campus map with parking and airport shuttle information
- Science Agenda and List of Posters now available.
- Please note that there is another conference at Caltech on Sept 20th which will be using the same parking facilities. You may need to arrive early to ensure a space.
The annual meeting of the Keck Observatory user community
will be held at Caltech this year. We hope to have resounding
participation from the Caltech, UC, UH, NASA, TSIP, and WMKO members
of our scientific partnership. Recent and interesting results from
the Keck I and Keck II telescopes on Mauna Kea will be showcased. The
meeting is also a forum for obtaining status reports on current and
planned instrumentation, and for discussing initiatives and
opportunities that are still far afield. An observatory strategic
planning discussion will occur on the day after the science meeting.

- Getting Here:

Directions to Caltech
- Official
Campus Map
- Note that Arms is building 25 on the map.
- Campus map with parking and airport shuttle information
- Parking Info:
- As the meeting is during the week this year parking will be more of a challenge.
However, Caltech has a new parking structure, located underground
across California from Robinson and Arms and there are two structures
on Wilson and one on Holliston. Be aware that another meeting on
campus on September 20th will be utilizing the same parking and
you may need to arrive early to ensure a space. The bottom level
of the California structure is the best place to find spot
(another meeting may have someone selling permits
on that level, but it is open to all visitors).
- You need to buy and show a day ($5) or week ($15) pay-and-display
ticket. There is a ticket machine near the top of the ramp down to
the California structure, and one at the SE corner of the first
underground parking level. All spaces marked `commuter' or `student'
are fine to use: these are mostly found on the second and third
underground levels. Make sure you don't park in a space marked with a
name in addition to a number on the kerb, or one with an orange
marker labeled `carpool'. Parking enforcement issues Pasadena City
parking citations in the Caltech lots.
- Lodging Info:
We recommend that you make your reservations soon as many local hotels are filling up. See the list below for hotels with Caltech rates and the lodging page for information on the reserved room blocks at the
Athenaeum and the Fuller Guest Center.
